Returns & Refunds Policy
Whiskerfield & Fluff
We want you and your cat to love everything you order. If something isn't right, here's how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.
The Basics
- Return window: 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all parts and accessories included.
- How to start a return: Email us at whiskerfieldandfluff at gmail .com with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Please do not ship anything back until you receive return instructions from us — items returned without authorization may not be eligible for a refund.
- Refund timing: Refunds are issued to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned item, typically within 5 business days of inspection. Your bank may take additional time to post the refund.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos (or video for anything that isn't working properly) of the item and its packaging. We'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund — and in most cases you won't need to ship anything back.
Please keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved.
Item-Specific Terms
Cat Litter & HEPA Filters
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened litter and opened HEPA filters are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded. Unopened litter and filters in original sealed packaging may be returned within 30 days.
Litter Box Cabinets & Furniture
Because of their size and shipping cost, furniture items have a few extra terms:
- Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days if the item is unused, disassembled (if applicable), and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee applies. We recommend contacting us before purchase if you have questions about dimensions, color, or fit — we're happy to help you measure twice and order once.
- Damaged or defective furniture is fully covered — see the damaged items section above. Please inspect furniture upon delivery and report any damage within 7 days.
- Furniture that has been assembled or used is not eligible for change-of-mind return.
Handmade Curtains
Our litter box cabinet curtains are hand-sewn in small batches. Unused curtains in original condition may be returned within 30 days. Curtains that have been installed, washed, or altered are not eligible for return.
Air Purifiers, Extension Cords, Sash Rods & Accessories
Returnable within 30 days if unused and in original packaging. Electrical items that have been plugged in and used may qualify for a partial refund at our discretion (see "Inspection & Condition" below).
Inspection & Condition Adjustments
All returned items are inspected upon arrival. Refunds are based on the condition in which we receive the item:
- Unused, original packaging, resellable: full refund (less any restocking fee disclosed above).
- Opened or lightly used but resellable as open-box: partial refund of up to 50–80% of the purchase price, at our discretion.
- Used, damaged in return transit due to inadequate packaging, missing parts, or otherwise unsellable: not eligible for refund. We'll contact you with photos and options, which may include returning the item to you at your expense.
We photograph all returns upon arrival. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and packing items securely — we cannot issue refunds for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.
Return Shipping Costs
- Our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item): we cover it, or no return is needed at all.
- Change of mind: customer covers return shipping. For furniture, the restocking fee above also applies.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable except when the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
Want a different color or size? The fastest route is to place a new order for the item you want and return the original for a refund under the terms above. This gets the right item to you without waiting on the return to process.
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened cat litter
- Opened HEPA filters
- Assembled or used furniture (unless damaged/defective)
- Installed, washed, or altered curtains
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items returned without prior authorization

We're a small business and we genuinely want to resolve any issue directly — please reach out to us first at whiskerfieldandfluff at gmail .com before opening a payment dispute. We respond to all return requests within 1–2 business days.
